Members Help Information – Images

On your WBA Members' Listing Display Page, you may have two images – a logo and a photo. As an option, you CAN upload two photos.... perhaps a storefront and a delivery vehicle, or an exterior and an interior of your shop/office. The page below shows the top part of the Pointed Communications listing.

The logo image displays in the upper right across from the name and address information. It's display is limited to about 300 pixels (note: approx. 72 pixels per inch). The photo displays just above the company description on its own "line" and is about 550 pixels wide.

The World Wide Web primarily uses two formats for graphics: GIF and JPEG. We require your graphics to be one or the other. And we WILL help you if need be, so don't fret too much. You submit your photos directly from the Company Information Edit page.

To upload your company logo and a photo, click on the "Browse" buttons (shown below), find the appropriate GIF or JPEG images on your hard disk and select them. When you click on the "Save" button at the very bottom, it will upload your graphics and set links for your online display page!

Once you have uploaded your images (after you Save), the names of your files will display to the right of the "Browse...." button, and thumbnails of the images also will display on this page.

NOTE: If you have a photo from a digital camera, our system WILL resize it appropriately for our display page. There is a limit, so don't try to upload too large a file. (For techies: our images are approximately 500 pixels wide. The file size limit is 1 MB.) Typically, digital cameras can take images in several sizes/resolutions. We use the smallest.

Rembmer, you MUST click the Save button to explicitly save all your entries in our database. If you click the Quit button (or hit your Return key), all entries will be lost and you will return to the main page.
