President’s Message

During the past two years, I really enjoyed the challenging job of being your president!

You have given me the opportunity to get to know more people in the town and to grow myself.

The Wayland town board meetings I attended on your behalf last year were the meetings about the tax split and Town Center. In addition, I supported various business members when they had to appear before different boards.

The changes in our busy world today are constant and problematic at times. One of the goals of the WBA is to help our members with solutions to zoning and planning board demands. We need members of the business community to get more involved with town boards and committees. This is the only way to have our voices heard.

We have potentially big changes coming up that will affect a lot of town business owners. Please volunteer to get involved!

Thank you for nominating me to serve as your president for two more years. I plan to keep our membership up and get other businesses involved in our town, also to have more successful fund raisers.

The WBA is more than just a business group. It is part of the fiber of the Town. It is a strong, respected voice in the on-going dialog to define the future business and civic environment of Wayland and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
